VS Code extension

Review any file directly from VS Code. One keyboard shortcut. Results in your editor.

Requirements

  • VS Code 1.80 or later
  • A Nexdge account (free or paid)
  • An API key — Pro plan or above

Install the extension

Open VS Code. Go to the Extensions panel (Ctrl+Shift+X). Search for Nexdge. Click Install. Or install directly from the marketplace:

Get your API key

Log in to your Nexdge dashboard. Go to API in the sidebar. Copy your API key. API access requires Pro plan or above.

Set your API key in VS Code

Open the Command Palette in VS Code (Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+P on Mac). Type and run:

Run your first review

Open any code file. Trigger a review using any of these methods:

Keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
Status bar
Click Nexdge: Ready at the bottom of the window
Command Palette
Nexdge: Review Now
